Always get a copy of your blood work. My GFR was at 58 and I was told my blood work was good. When your GFR is at 58 it is chronic kidney disease. When your kidneys are damaged you cannot have contrast dies put in you as it can kill your kidneys. You should be on a strict diet and be referred to a nephrologist.
