He is a very good vet and a very good person
Dr. Mathis Is Very Rude and disrespectful to His staff. I Brought my Horse in and the tech that was helping was spoke to in a very rude way by yelling and swearing at her. He lost his Patience with my horse so he Slapped him on the nose. I am very disappointed by my Visit. And to Go along with this Day I Called and Left Several messages concerning a question I had prior to bringing my horse in and He Would NEVER call me Back. I wont Be coming back to this Place.

Absolutely! Did this provider ever postpone your appointment? Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible Is this provider's business conveniently located? Yes, they went above and beyond Did you leave the office feeling satisfied with your visit? Completely! Was this provider's office easy to locate? Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier!
Dr. Mathis and the entire staff at Ashley Animal Hospital are exceptional and professional. Dr. Mathis has provided exemplary care to our dogs, cats and horses, routinely and in emergency situations. They have always acted in a compassionate and professional manner. We are fortunate to have this level of care and service in our community. I would highly, and unquestionably, recommend Dr. Mathis, his staff and clinic, without hesitation.
They definitely favor certain clients, and make an extra effort to help those clients. I was afraid that they wouldn't help me if they didn't like me. I couldn't believe how insensitive they were when my pet was sick. My veterinarian didn't even seem to care that I was upset and it just made the experience that much worse. They didn't show any sort of attention to detail, which I think is very important. I was afraid they were going to miss or forget something important.
