My mother has been at Brookhurst for over three years. Tina, the executive director, and her staff do a very compassionate and professional job caring for her and the other residents there. The meals are varied, healthy and timely. The facility is clean and pleasant.
Well you asked for it, they are seemingly so short staffed or overwhelmed than could not seem to keep my mother in dry panties or bedding. No real activities besides watching TV or dinning and I do mean NOTHING. They are very nice but don't have enough staff to do what they said would be done in the contract and for the 7000.00 dollars we paid for 30 days. Supplied all her own cloths yet often found her in other people's clothes and bedding. She really wilted under their watch in my opinion.
