Dr. Ashley Lubeki was my doctor 9 years ago when I was pregnant and had given birth to my son. Her as my doctor was the worst experience I ever had. Being a young mom, she made me feel incompetent and also showed lack of empathy while I was giving birth. She also told me that I wasn’t going to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy and made me feel horrible. 2024 Update: I lowered the stars from 2 to 1. After one myomectomy in 2019 & fertility treatments in subsequent years, I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my 1st child. I'm so glad I didn't listen to Ashley Lubecki & have a hysterectomy in 2019. To feel my baby kick, flip & punch is amazing. I just want to reiterate the need for 2nd, 3rd or 4th opinions. I’ve been seeing dr. Lubecki for 6 years now and my experience with her has always been great. I had a really hard time getting pregnant the first time. She saw the issue, treated the issue and my son is now a happy and healthy 2 year old. When she delivered him it was a wonderful experience, she did everything I asked and it was perfect in every way! If I could give her zero Stars I would. I knew the risk but as a doctor you would think that the first thing they wouldn't offer would be birth control. Within 2 months I developed a blood clot that traveled up my leg into my heart chamber and shot out into my lung. When I went back for another appointment I told her what happened and all that I had been through she barely even responded she didn't even care and she was the one who prescribed it to me. don't ever go to this woman she definitely doesn't care about black women
Dr. Lubecki showed up late to my birth. She was the doctor on call and was supposed to have 30 minutes to get to the hospital when the nurses called to let her know I was in active labor. She showed up HOURS LATER. She refused me pain medication because I volunteered to have a c section with my regular doctor. I labored unexpectedly, naturally until my child was almost delivered on the c section table. She spoke poorly about me while I was bleeding out on her c section table as if I couldn’t hear her.
