Apparently, ordering a recliner from Ashley Furniture does not guarantee you’ll receive an entire chair. I ordered a recliner and received only the bottom half. No back. No top. Just the base. After contacting customer service, I was told the missing pieces were on the way. Today, the tracking finally said “Out for Delivery.” What arrived? A bag of stuffing and an outer fabric cover. JUST' a comment (8/10/26--I "popped" into the Ashley store in Somerville. Mass. (02144) today, with the hope I would purchase several rooms of furn.--i have purchased a complete household of furn. from their store in Florida, for our home there. However, this store is 'awful' ALL dark furniture, NO lighting dept. Not a good selection of anything (really). VERY small store (deceiving from the outside). I made a purchase of a dining room set that arrived with a damaged box. When questioned, the delivery drivers indicated it was damaged by the straps that hold the boxes in place. The damaged box was the one the table was in. Upon opening the box the day after delivery, it was clear the table was severely damaged.
