Dr. Egan did my hernia surgery recently. She has an excellent bed side manner , explained everything to my wife and me in detail and has great sense of humor . Dr. Egan is good people ; she rocks !
Went for months with pain in my stomach. Egan pushed me away and made me feel crazy just like the other doctors. Found out I did need surgery from an amazing surgeon who actually took the time to listen to me. Imaging alone didn't show my issue but he decided with how much pain I was in to do exploratory surgery. Saved my life!!! So relieved to know I was not crazy and my problem is now fixed.
Dr. Egan performed surgery on my three hernias in July of 2024. She has a great presence about her, excellent bedside manner, exudes confidence, and has a sense of humor. And, bonus, she's a great surgeon. Her staff is amazing as well. Lauren in Scheduling did an amazing job telling me what to expect after the surgery, and how to help manage the hernia pain before I had surgery. Dr. Egan and the whole office is amazing! Her office and especially Heather the surgical coordinator Has been phenomenal regarding communication answering all the questions, phone calls and emails so quickly and kindly. During both procedures, Dr. Egan made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was never in a rush when we spoke And answered every question and concerned that I had. She and her office will always be my first go to for any procedure I need to get done in their field of expertise.
What can I say? She's an excellent surgeon. My husband had a hernia repair with her, and I went to her this month myself for hernia repair. She's a very caring doctor and answered all my questions thoroughly. I had a pain pack inserted in my abdomen which delivered numbing meds to the site of operation. I took Tylenol once a day for 3 days which helped the soreness. I didn't need anything stronger. Great experience. I felt well-cared-for, through the entire process.
