Very happy with their service. On time, put down protective tarp, put booties on their shoes in the house, very polite and professional and even know not to put ladder against gutter to get on roof. Did a test fire when they were completed.

Ashley Chimney Service "cleaned" my pellet stove (10/09) and did not remove the soot from the stove pipe that connects to the stove. As such it clogged and damaged my pellet stove. I had to pay another $225 to have it properly cleaned and repaired. My mother in law had her pellet stove cleaned the same day by the same guys-guess what? They also did not remove the soot from the pipe so my mother in law, who is on a fixed income, had to also pay again to have her stove fixed and re-cleaned. I see in reading some of reviews, half are a gripe session from past employees who can't spell. As far as the work provided (that's what I care about. Not your personal problems) - They have been to my home twice to work on separate chimney issues. Last year was to clean, re-mortar some of the fire bricks, install a cap, and seal the outside brick. This year was to clean the chimney, and give a quote on installing an adjustable chimney damper. The quote was reasonable and they will install that this week.

Same review as Oliver was talking about. As a employ who worked for Williams. This guy was a dirtbag. He had a office in the back yard in a shed. I've asked if I could use a restroom. And he said "are you asking me to supply a restroom??? He then said no we don't have one fore you. So the next day of training with him (even though I had over 3 years of exp). poor service We hired Ashley to clean and service our pellet stove. several weeks after the service I tried to light the stove but the pellet auger didn't work anymore. When they sent a repairman back he couldn't figure out what was wrong and left with nothing resolved! Ashley then had a repair person from Morton stove come out and all that kid tried to do was sell us a new stove! He didn't even look at the stove! As a former employee from their I would never use them or work for a company as bad as them the owners are not respectful to their employees they do not follow code and state laws the office is in the back of his rental house in a piece of crap shed buyer beware bad company bad company bad company they have people working under the table and doing chimney sweeps on drugs

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Very unprofessional. Did damage to the chimney do to careless workers and would not repair it. Owner is unprofessional. Hung up on me when I was trying to get them to fix what they broke. Rip off company. Use entirely at your own risk....
