My mother was a resident in the memory care area of Ashland Place for three months, and I could not be more pleased with the care she received. The staff was always kind, compassionate, and attentive to both the residents and their families. I visited almost every day and was always made to feel welcome. This rehab facility is a joke! I went there following my hip replacement surgery for physical therapy. I only had physical therapy 2 times (15 minutes each) during the five days I was there. They let me go without pain medication for hours several times. I had 1 shower during that time. No wash cloths or towels were left in the bathroom for me to wash myself. Ashland Place is what happens when leadership actually leads. Regina, the DON, runs a tight ship. I’m convinced she has superpowers because she somehow knows everything happening in the building at all times. The staff are attentive, the care is excellent, and residents are treated with respect. Unlike some places where call lights seem to age like fine wine before being answered, Ashland Place gets things done. I just won't to say how disappointed I was about some of the nurses that works there and about the social worker in the rehab department first of all the the social worker talk to fast and the only 2 people I cared about was Tiffany and Tina they took very care of my mom while she was there all the rest of the nurses look very confused and was not helpful
