Falafel and babaghanoush were highlights.
Came for happy hour at 3:30pm. Place was almost completely empty with a few people at tables. We were greeted by a rude male host who told us we could sit at the bar and maybe get a table but they had lots of reservations for dinner. We sat at the bar and asked for a table and the waitress told us no. We were there for an hour and only one group came in for dinner. They proceeded to chop papers using an industrial paper cutter at a table next to us. Food was okay but the whole experience was very off putting
Was expecting something elevated. Not the case. Tahini caesar was fine, chicken shawarma was very dry. Apps were easily the best part. Falafel was very good, hummus was nothing special. Wouldn't rush back.
I absolutely love this place, I keep going back! No photos this time, but Alex our waitress was fabulous. She took really great care of us! The food here hits every time, and someone I was with even said it was both “the best falafels” he has ever had, and “better than Safta”. You can’t beat the happy hour. 4-5 in the dining room and 4-6 at the bar. Best pita bread, also great brunch. You can’t go wrong!
