Had to go here as my lovely GP was unavailable today. Saw the coldest, rudest doctor I've ever come across. Am not surprised she's working in the medical clinic of last resort. I recommend you avoid this place if you can.
Wouldn't allow me to make an appointment, but told me as long as I came in by 3pm the doctor would see me. Came in at 2:30pm only to be told the single doctor on staff had decided to stop seeing patients for the remainder of the day despite the sign at reception saying she was in until 6pm. I took the damn day off work to see a doctor, and this is honestly ridiculous and unprofessional. I assume this clinic is only still in business because it bulk bills.
I went to Sydney for a holiday and went to visit and walk-in as a patient as advised and recommended by the nurse support in Tasmania (where I live) regarding my wound dressing plan and procedure in this clinic. After undergoing through difficult processes and arrangements while dealing with the frontdesk lady and the in-house GP Dr. Birra, not to mention, they were really giving me this uncomfortable feeling that I am a minority coming to their clinic, in additon, arrogantly condescending and downright heartless which I lit... read more
I avoid this surgery unless I'm desperate. Dr Birra is incredibly unprofessional and rude.
I went there once for the convenience; the wait wasn't too bad, but the doctor I saw couldnt have given less of a care that I was there. I tried small talk and was ignored. Barely investigating my condition, she prescribed me antihistamines. A second opinion found I needed strong antibiotics so that was cute.
