Update 4/29/2026 - I received an apology phone message and email. The apology was heartfelt and showed empathy for my inconvenience and for my disappointment at not gaining information from an intake consult. I plan to contact Asheville Testing again in the future to try again. I had a really terrible experience with Simon, the psychiatrist who conducted my testing and review. He claimed I was too smart to have ADHD and my OCD (which I am diagnosed and medicated for) is not real. There were several things I specifically said were not caused by anxiety, yet in my report he said all the things I mentioned were only symptoms of anxiety. Our experience with Maddie was excellent. She worked closely with my child's school, and my child (normally shy) warmed up fairly quickly to her. She helped us understand our child’s strengths and weaknesses, and generally helped us be a better support for him. Would recommend!
