I always enjoy the Asheville Symphony Orchestra, but the recent Artist-in-Residency week was absolutely astounding! We were very privileged to have two world-class violinists in Asheville for over a week, delighting us with amazing performances and, perhaps more importantly, spending extremely valuable time mentoring the young musicians in our community! Thank you for bringing so much music to our ears, hearts and minds during Artist Residency Week. From multistyles and excellent Classical programming, stellar violin soloists, educational collaborations, lectures about the history and origins of the violin…This was Violin Week and so delightful to this retired musician.
