Steve is an artist and an artisan who has done multiple pieces for us over the last 30 years and although we have moved from Kentucky to Montana and than to Sarasota they always go with us. Has it taken patience with Steve-yes, but it always get done and you end up with a museum quality work of art. One must give him some room and we understand that.

We ordered a custom 30"x48" piece from Steve. Should be done by December. Cannot wait to see the design and the progress on it.

I first met Steve McLester over a year ago and upon entering his shop I was immediately impressed by the quality of his work. He graciously showed me around his studio. As an artist and a former college teacher of art, I recognized the superior craftsmanship in the design and construction of his stained glass windows. Went in to shop just to look! The owner was rude and miserable! I asked if he sold glass and he said he did not sell to the public! Silence I am a stain glass artist myself and I am particular about my glass too and I get it but he was very unfriendly.
