I have gone to Dr Scott for several years and she is knowledgeable and skilled as well as personable and caring. The office staff are very nice as well. I highly recommend this office!
Extremely disappointed in the care here. I couldn’t get an appointment for a very simple issue, then they wouldn’t refill my prescription until I made an appointment. No concern at all about my health or anything. Nurse didn’t even call back to tell me that my refill was denied. I had to call pharmacy to find out weather or not I could pick it up. I would not recommend this Dr. Office to anyone. It’s impossible to get a person on the phone to even get answers to anything. Very disappointed.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE OUT OF STATE BC/BS. I have BC/BS of MA which has a contract with this practice. After my office visit, I received a bill for $375. When I spoke to Deb she informed me BC/BS said I do not have coverage (even though I do). I called my insurance, confirmed my insurance was active and then provided Deb with the phone number. She told me that they received some code from BC/BS of NC and it said I don't have insurance and in a rude condescending tone said "It's out of my hands." That's it. Offered no sol... read more
I didn't think I'd ever say I look forward to going to my gynecologist...until now. The entire staff is personable and supportive. Dr. Jan O'Hara was fantastic. She listened to my needs and was very knowledgable and responsive on different options pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. I am very happy I found this place and highly recommend it for any woman wanting well-rounded and supportive care.
I had an appointment with WHNP, Jan O'Hara today. She was fabulous in every single way. She actively listened to my laundry list of concerns. She made me felt seen and validated. She walked me through each step of my appointment and gave me realistic expectations and recommendations. Asheville is lucky to have such a caring health care provider.
