Dr. Wendy Coin is very old and should retire. She punished me for being on controlled substances for 18 years and would not give me any refills. She’s more afraid of loosing her license and the DEA and doesn’t abide by the hypocratical oath.
Well, I just had the best ever experience with Asheville Family Health. I was a new patient and met with Dr. Wendy Coin. I was expecting the usual 5 to 10 minute meeting experience that we all have become used to having. Dr. Coin sat and talked and learned about me and my family's medical history. Called to schedule an appointment for a family member of mine who wasn’t capable of doing so at the time, the lady I spoke with was rude and instead of being compassionate and helping me walk through the process of what information I needed regarding my family member to schedule an appointment , she was condescending and just an all around pain to talk to. Which is fine, because I wouldn’t want to send anyone I care about to a place like that.
Dr. Coin is an amazing doctor! She always makes me feel like I am her top priority. She listens carefully to what I say and I allows me to facilitate my health decisions. She is open to my suggestions and is honest in her opinions. She is very aware of making feel comfortable when I visit her office and she always engages in personal talk before getting into the medical part. I have been going to her for over a decade and I will always continue to go to her and recommend her to my friends!
