My father passed away during the time of the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Emily was so kind, compassionate, and detail oriented all while dealing with major issues from the storm. I never felt like I was a burden to them even though I knew they had many challenges they were dealing with. I really appreciate them.
In 2019 when a family member passed away, we were referred here by a well known funeral home due to them not being able to provide services because of their cost. In the past 5 years, we’ve had to use Asheville Area Alternative Funeral Home 3 times and all 3 times they have done such an amazing job with our loved ones and treated them and us with respect and kindness! Very nice people and they certainly do get the job done at a reasonable cost. The building doesn't look like much on the outside , but the inside is beautifully decorated. I gave them four stars due to a couple of minor, yet important to me, incidences that happened. I wanted to make a payment over the weekend and the person I talk to said she would be in the office later that day and try to reach me.
