He picked the name ASHBY DISCOUNT SEWING MACHINE CO, being at that time, the name ASHBY, would be the first name in the phone book listing. Bought my first embroidery machine at Ashby in August. I've wanted one for several years but never purchased one until now. While shopping around Ashby was the most helpful and answered all of my questions before I went to the establishment. After going to look at the machine, Laura's customer service was excellent and that's when I decided I would purchase it from Ashby. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE? You've got to be kidding. You must not have met or conducted business with Mark. You must have been serviced by one of the women up front. We've spent thousands of dollars in that store on 2 embroidery machines. My wife took the last machine back for its first servicing, which was suppose to be free, but was charged $137. She paid her money and left. I on the other hand called and told them our feelings and that we won't spend another dime in that store. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
