This isn't what you want to hear but I feel I need to share my true experience. Asha is not a professional natural hair stylist more of a living room enthusiast. I went in asking for a rod set and came out a mess (as seen in pics). In the end she was trying so desperately to make something of this stringy mess, going at it with a curling rod, afro pic, wetting and coiling the ends(?!) it took me a while of debating about posting this review, but due to what happened to me and how traumatic the experience was, i need to say something despite my support of black business to prevent this from happening to any other woman. the entire experience was a unprofessional mess. i had an 8am appointment which was last minute cancelled and moved to 11am on the day of the appointment, not by my doing but by the stylist. then once i got there at 11, the stylist had another woman in the chair with at least another hours ... read more
