For almost 2 years Dr. Shah arrogantly insisted I was a type 2 diabetic and there was no need for further bloodwork or testing. Wrong! When your patient is now 89 pounds, something is wrong. I went to an endocrinologist and he suspected I am a type1 diabetic. He was right. He did more blood work, and I tested positive for the anti bodies. I am insulin dependent now but I have gained my weight back. I will never go back Dr Shah, but she needs to go back to Medical School.
They have not returned numerous voicemails over the past few months , do everything they can to avoid responding to Patients.
After years of seemingly unrelated symptoms, and visiting many different Doctors, Dr. Shah is the one that finally nailed my condition and sent me to a Rheumatologist for a diagnosis. She really listened to me and showed true concern. She is truly a knowledgeable Doctor and I would recommend her to anyone. She may not seem overly friendly at first, but she is very attentive to detail and actually really cares about her patients. Worst Doctor that I have ever had. I have never met her other than a video chat. Twice when I tried to make an appointment I was told that she didn't have any openings and to go to a walk in clinic. She refused to fill a prescription and did not offer an alternative to the medication.
Dr. Shah is an exceptional doctor. She truly has your best interest in mind. She goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend her. Coming from the Philadelphia area where the doctors are exceptional, Dr. Shah has the same work ethic and mind set. She’s quite thorough and proficient in evaluating and caring for her patients.
Extremely disrespectful. Lazy and rude. The staff is so disrespectful and the dr is extremely unkind. I wouldn’t recommend this dr to even my enemy. Horrible experience.
Would not listen to what was going on with me. Every time I tried to tell her what was going on she would interrupt me. She would say things that put me down and literally made me cry. She was very rude. She prescribed me 2 medications that are known for severe interactions without care. When I told her about the medication interaction symptoms I was experiencing she said "you just let me be the doctor." She told me that maybe I should go see a different doctor who would help me. So I did.
I was very impressed with Dr. Shah. She took the time to listen and educated me on different subjects, which helps me to be compliant and understand. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
