I have gone to only one person for my hair cuts for the last 6 years. She was a new stylist when I started going so it started off as she could only style my hair. Once she was able to cut hair I had her cutting mine. She is amazing, she knew me she knew my hair and when I would ask for different things she would talk to me to make sure cuz she just knew whether or not I’d be happy in the end. Let me start with the good. The stylists are very kind and I've never had a bad hair cut here. Unfortunately, Aveda bleach just isn't made to properly lift dark hair. My mom wasn't told about the gentle nature of the bleach used during the complimentary consultation and ended up with orange hair after 5 hours in the chair. She was then sent home and told to come back in a month for her next session, where they would attempt to lift the orange/brass out. A month is a long time to walk around with orange hair! I had my haircut done by Yessie (unsure 100% of spelling) and I had a haircut I wanted to try from a video game and even though we were both a little unsure if it would work, it turned out super cute and she did a great job! Super impressed with how she did
Samia did my hair for both my prom and my graduation party, and I absolutely loved both styles! They looked amazing and lasted all day and night. She is so talented and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend her!
I’ve been an Asha client for well over 8 years. I originally went to the city location, where Daren cut my hair and Jen colored it. After Daren left, Jen continued cutting and coloring my hair, and I’ve always had an amazing experience with the Asha team. About a year ago, I moved to the Schaumburg area. Because I’ve always loved Asha’s service, I decided to stay with Asha and simply transition to the Schaumburg location.
