Dr. Muthalaly is truly the best in the business. She gave me life-saving advice when I needed it most, and I’ll forever be grateful for her care and compassion. She takes the time to really listen, explain things clearly, and make you feel like more than just another patient. Her genuine dedication and expertise set her apart — she’s not only an incredible doctor, but an incredible person.
Dr Muthalaly is the best! I have gone thru several rheumatologists all of which have had no personality let alone a decent bedside manner. Dr Muthalaly always has a smile on her face, greets you with a handshake and takes the time to listen to her patients. I’ve been her patient for over 10 years and she has been excellent in my care and management of my RA. This is a no brainier when it comes to quality care. I highly recommend Dr Asha Muthalaly.

Im August of 2024 I was hospitalized after experiencing one of the worst flare ups I have had ever. I was hospitalized for 6 days. There is where I was introduced to Dr. Muthalaly. While she does present as a very intelligent and confident doctor, I happened to perceive her approach and care as my rheumatologist to be extremely abrasive, dismissive, invalidating and rushed. I was scary sick when I first saw Dr. Muthalaly. There was no clear diagnosis to my complicated case. What I appreciate most is that she took a lot of time to communicate well with my other doctors to find a treatment plan. All three of them have commented on how much they respect her. I'd say that's better than any recommendation I can give!
