I searched local salons near me and found Ash and Willow in Barrington. I got matched with Patience for a butterfly cut and she got it spot on! I had very long, thick hair that was flat at the roots from the weight of my hair. I didn’t want to loose any length, and usually when you say that to a hair stylist they always chop off a million inches, yet patience kept my length while restoring the health and adding bounce. Ash and Willow has been my go-to salon for the last couple years. The salon itself is super cute and everyone is very kind. My stylist, Sam M, always has my hair looking amazing and I love that they carry Kevin Murphy products! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place that really knows their hair and cares about client satisfaction.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Sam Mazur for years, and I can honestly say I’ll never go anywhere else! She always does an incredible job and knows exactly how to bring my vision to life while keeping my hair healthy. The salon itself is adorable. It’s super clean, well maintained, and such a welcoming environment. Everyone there is always SO nice, which makes the whole experience even better. I always leave feeling refreshed, confident, and taken care of. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I am very dissapointed in the results after paying $300+ for hair coloring and highlights. It looked fine in the Salon but the next day in daylight, you can see that there is a harsh divide where the highlights start and where the roots aren’t even dyed. You can even see white hairs that werent dyed! not to mention that I wanted a honey blonde and instead got yellow. For the price paid, I’d hope to at least get my entire hair dyed, but that didn’t happen. Would not recommend!
