Went to Ash Trail yesterday for dinner! This cozy resort is located on the Ash River adjacent to Lake Kabetogama and Voyageurs National Park. Food was excellent and we experienced nice, friendly service. Food was great and so were the drinks!
Dear Steve and Deb, We can't thank you enough! The food at the Lodge couldn't have been any better! Probably the best prime rib we've ever had! We caught some beautiful fish as well. It was all great until our dog little Tanky, very unexpectedly passed away. Steve, you came right over and helped us make arrangements. We were a mess, so God Bless you! We'd like to come back someday.

The food in the restaurant is much better than average. It's a fairly quiet, nice place to stay for a reasonable price. I certainly recommend it for a Minnesota relaxation and or fishing vacation.

Oh, and to enjoy the delicious and incredibly fairly priced food and drinks at the bar and restaurant. We did two canoe trips up the Ash River using the Lodge's canoe, which is free for guests to use. Make sure to paddle up to Ash River Falls, it's beautifu... read more
Ash Trail lodge is one of my all time favorite resorts. Owners Steve and Deb go the extra mile to make sure your stay is great! The cabins are what you would expect for a traditional Minnesota resort, comfortable, well stocked, homey with that 'up north' feel. Great food in the lodge which is always fun and inviting.
Ash Trail Lodge has a 4.7 star rating with 132 reviews.
Ash Trail Lodge is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
