We recently contacted Ash Grove Tree Solutions about removing a large 50+ ft deodar cedar in our front yard that was damaging the retaining wall. Franz inspected our property and submitted a request to the city of Vancouver. A permit was issued in 2 days. Within a week, a crew of 4 arrived by 7:30 am to set up safety barriers on the street and sidewalk. Work started at 8:00 am. It took all day. Knowledgeable, efficient and friendly guys - Franz, Martin and Garrett. I was also pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price quote Franz provided. I would definitely call Ash Grove in future for any professional tree and shrub work.

I am giving them five stars because I don't wanna be mean and ruin their track record, but I was quite surprised by how aggressively they pruned back my backyard trees. These guys are good at what they do, but please prepare yourself in that they are heavy handed and take a lot off. Would recommend for restoration pruning, tree removal and similar, but not for crown raising.
