I would rather go back to the dentist for a root canal than go through the claim process for a check up appointment. They are the worst benefit company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They will pull out any technicality to avoid reimbursing you. And their app is glitchy, laggy hot garbage that will crash on you without warning. Dealing with ASEBP is often frustrating with several roadblocks. I am on the most expensive plan and they will not allow me to go to a less expensive plan for 2 years. Yet no council was provided to help choose the best plan for my needs. In the brochure it looks like there is a lot of coverage, but If you have the patience to wait to get through on their phone line you will hear "We don't cover that specific medical expense" quite often. I will say ASEBPs long term disability services were quite good.

Good coverage until you need help in critical health situations. Then it's all denied and your on your own.

They are slow. They refuse coverage for conditions that are covered in the policy. They give a predetermination and the only pay half of what was predetermined. Horrible people.
