I absolutely LOVE Ascot Medical Centre! Myself and my family have been patients of Dr. Powel (dad), Dr. Ben Powel (son), Dr. H. Gawn and Dr. MJ Stanly for years now and have never ever had a bad experience - which is why I am baffled by some of the reviews. I will say that yes, the old receptionist was grouchy but Sue (new receptionist) is SO kind and always happy. Front desk very unhelpful on the phone today. Receptionist (sounded like an older lady) was impatient, dismissive, and curt bordering on hostile. I take negative reviews like this with a grain of salt, as I know that customers can be demanding, entitled, and rude. In customer service, the public can grind you down. But I was polite to a fault, and the receptionist's manner was completely uncalled for. Judging from previous reviews, I'm not the first to have had such an experience here.
