Rented scissor lifts from this outfit, had my guy pick them up and no paperwork was given to him explaining pricing, dates, etc. We thought oh well no big deal, we continued to use asco for a total of 4 months and somewhere between that time frame one of them began giving us problems with the controller causing us massive delays during a period when we had a crane rental for erecting steel. I will never do business with this company again. I own an electrical contracting company that is in constant need of rental equipment and repairs on our own equipment. I took a newly acquired scissor lift to them for repairs and let the service manager know that I was only willing to pay $2,500.00 in repairs or I would be investing more than the equipment was worth. Rented a forklift needed iit for one hour. Was not quoted a price. Told me it would be there the next morning. They were late. Used fork lift and called to have it picked up. Was charged $867.00 to my credit card they had on file. Never got a receipt. Never told what the charges would be. Was stunned when I got my credit card Bill. Beware.
