I’ve been to this location multiple times between myself and other family members and have thought highly of this place due to location and efficiency. Never had an issue until recently, I brought my child in after she had been attacked at school. My child had already been through enough that day and then had to deal with rude nurses. We went straight back when we arrived and were overwhelmed by 3 women who entered the room with no greeting or hospitality, one being an RN (Christie) not sure of the other women’s names/titles... read more
Was there for two hrs to be seen. Kidney transplant patient. I was told by my doctors downtown at UAB to tell the doctor seeing me in ER to call downtown to see what blood work needed to be done as my last lab work came back with higher than normal numbers. First.. the nurse came in to take my blood ended up blowing the vein out and said she got enough to run test. I repeated .. please call downtown to see what tests they wanted checked. Horrible public relations. I went to check on my daughter, who was as in a room, as a Mom, I was very shaken up. The nurses were very rude, spoke down to me, then told the guard that I was taking pictures!!! They were very crazy. Never going back there.
Brought my mother here and her problems were addressed quickly and promptly. A RN diagnosed her, a doctor came in, and she sat there for 8 hours with no one checking on her as she was waiting for a room at the main hospital to be admitted. We had no choice but to leave against AMA from a on call doctor that never saw her so I will be hiring an attorney if we receive a bill for the “visit”.
