Sat for almost 3 hours with no help only one interaction with the doctor for my doctor then left to sit for 3 hours with no answers or anything.

I just wanted to share our experience that we had with UAB St. Vincent’s Chilton yesterday. From the time we arrived for Kaylee’s surgery every staff member we came in contact with was professional, caring and calming. From the check in process down to the follow up phone call we received this morning. She may be 18 years old now, and considered an adult but, she is still my baby and anxiety and nervousness is real. WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!! Have doctors on staff that don't do proper diagnostics of a child and only order a chest x-ray and give a prescription for cough medicine and your discharged from the ER with no answers.....went to the new clinic 9 hours later on Hwy 31 by Sonic and found out my child had Influenza B after they did a nasal swab....The clinic on Hwy 31 did it's job and we got the answers we needed...Now we have to pay a deductable for inadequate care and miss diagnosis!!! I recently had an awful experience in this hospital , I’m very ill and in need of an ultrasound I called because I was given 3 different pricing at time of service, I wanted to be prepared. I called and was transferred 3 times to main menu I finally got someone on the phone transferred back to menu at the end I decided to cancel the appointment I couldn’t even get that done someone in scheduling kept hanging the phone in my face. If they don’t care now, they can careless about me. Good luck with this place staff is horrible.
