Unfortunately, 1 is the lowest mark I can give. My cousin had a firework go off in his face in Oscoda on Friday, July 5. We rushed him to the hospital in Tawas. There were 8 people in front of him. Woman checking is in was anything but compassionate. No urgency or communication about how long we would be waiting. Thankfully, we were able to connect with a friend who is an eye surgeon in Saginaw twp. We left and drove all the way back to Saginaw. I had a yeast infection and they gave me pills that wont help me and will make it worse had to wait 2-3 hours and they didn't help
My wife brought me to MyMichigan medical center in Tawas last week. I had a high fever and was extremely dehydrated. I was so weak I needed a wheel chair. I walked out 4 hours later with a diagnosis, a prescription and feeling so much better. They were great. I would go there with confidence.
They were more useful as a hospital in the 90s it seems. . Definitely not impressed in the institution now days. But I'll give it to em. There good at deligating patient's to other hospitals. Wish they were alittle quicker with my mom's though. But I won't hold that over there heads.
