From the front desk staff to the medical providers, they are all just lovely. First I arrived and was called back almost immediately. Scott and Jasmin came in and greeted me with warmth and compassion (which seems to be more the exception not the rule these days). I recently had a tonsillectomy and was in a lot of pain. Worst front desk or check in staff. Goodluck with getting appointments. You can never get a live person on phone. You leave message and rarely get call back.

I cannot speak to the medical staff, however the weekend receptionist is horribly unprofessional. I called a few moments ago to see if I should even bother going to the ER or just wait to make an appointment with my PCP. I asked to be transferred and was( with a great deal of attitude) she told me they don’t give out medical advice. I am aware that is standard and I told her I was checking to see if I should come in, was told they do not give wait times. I moved to Bastrop two years ago and for the last 1.5 years I've been patiently using Ascension Seton Bastrop as my primary care. Elizabeth Pollock has been a reliable and friendly resource, when I can get time with her. Ascension as a provider has made it very difficult to schedule appointments at this location. The "schedule online" feature is not available (inconvenience # 1) and instructs to call the office for scheduling.
