I went to the ER around 1 a.m. today for neck pain. I normally would ignore it thinking it’s a pulled muscle but I’m pregnant so everything is more important to me. Anyways I brought my husband and baby in with me. We were the only people there and waited for the dr for like 20 minutes, which isn’t long at all. Like many other reviews I’ve seen in here.. My wife had brought my 2 year old there and she was waiting nearly 3 hours for the doctor to come in.. yet nothing. She walked out without a word being said to her. Ridiculous.

This is the most negligent hospital I've ever encountered. I'd imagine every long time Waverly resident has at least one horror story about this place. Just a few years ago, a friend's father was sent home while having severe chest pain. He died a few hours later. In another case, a friend's mother had a severe infection in her finger that had changed the color of the appendage. Again, sent home. Luckily in that case, she was able to travel to Dickson where they were able to save the finger. Now as recently as this week, my ... read more
