I have been seen at two Ascension St. Thomas facilities and my son has been seen at one. While the care has been good, the billing experience for all three encounters has been an absolute nightmare. All three issues are errors made at the facility in spelling errors , even when correctly provided at the time of service, or copays taken at the time of service and the money not accredited to my account. I recently had surgery 8/30/2023 to remove a kidney stone. From the time we pulled up and had valet service for our car, everyone was incredibly professional, helpful and kind. I had an amazing pre-op nurse named Abby. The surgery went without a hitch. I was very anxious, as this was the second surgical attempt to get this large stone. St. Thomas Mid Town was a 10/10. From the check in clerk to every nurse and physician. Thankful to have such great health care options in Middle TN.

Urology issue - needed surgery.... First experience with this...... Thanking, The Operation team along with Tori, Alyssa, Katherine, Liz, Courtney, Tyrone, Angie, Miriam - may have forgotten a name or two (apologies).... Operation went smoothly, quickly and efficiently. All the nurses and care givers listed were professional, friendly and on point with their respective jobs. Can't thank them enough for helping me feel cared for. Hospital stays are not my favorite things, but this group? I'll go to bat for them anyday. ... read more
