In early August, 2024, my daughter #4 was burned badly. Thanks to our family PCP, Dr. Nicole Steineke, an immediate appointment was made at Ascension Saint Joseph - Wound Care, in Elgin. The clinical nurse manger, Shawna Jenkins, was waiting for us and almost immediately, had us securely in the hands of both the nurse on duty, and Dr. Sylvie Chau.
