I had my wife flown into Sacred Heart Hospital 4 Jan 2019, at 11;00 PM, she had a stroke at 7:30 that night, because a failed anneurysm repair had started leaking. We were told that we would have a Surgeon waiting for us upon arrival. That was not the case, it took three hours to get Dr Toledo into the Hospital to do the surgery. I came to Sacred Heart with a bad headache. There was nothing revealed after having CT scans and an MRI, only spinal tap revealed blood was present. Thanks to Dr. Toledo's persistence, it was determined I had had a stroke and she found a small anuerism. Her tenacity saved my life, and I am forever grateful.
We just now have our first appointment made, and we will leave more informed reviews after our visits. Our first impressions are very good; especially concerning Jackie who has helped both my husband and me to understand how the first visit will be handled. She is so very polite, knowledgeable, and was patient while explaining office procedure, etc. We are anxiously awaiting our first appointment and look forward to getting the best Neural medical help for our son. Jackie certainly makes a lovely first impression.
I highly recommend Ascension Sacred Heart Neurosurgery! I came in in extreme pain. The nurse practitioner Lyndsay Norman was able to discuss all of my questions and concerns. They had me do a few tests and then brought me back in in to see Dr. Carr. She was amazing! Right after being placed in a room she came in and sat with me until she knew that all of my questions and concerns were addressed.
