DO NOT COME HERE absolutely horrible place to go in an emergency. my son was taken by an ambulance to this facility they had him lay on bed in the middle of the hallway with no privacy. he was there for drug use and saying he wanted to self harm. the staff said he “doesn’t meet the criteria” to be in inpatient. (he told her he “i don’t want to live anymore”, she was aware of his pill use, and he said if he was sent him he would runaway.) she gave us a list of “resources” and mercy was on the list. the social worker was a jok... read more
If I could give this hospital zero stars, I would. The level of negligence here is unacceptable. Upon discharge, I was handed someone else’s paperwork—completely careless and dangerous. Even worse, the ER staff didn’t take my condition seriously, and because of that, my health has gotten worse. This experience has made it clear that patient safety and basic professionalism are not a priority here. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone.
Terrible experience. Very rude nurse at triage, Lorie. Very condescending and rude and kind of worrisome as to her state of mind. I was there for an ankle sprain and saw 5 different PAs or students and was given absolutely nothing as far as care. I had an ice burn on my leg from having to use straight ice to skin for 20 or 30 min to combat the pain..i wasn't offered any creams for the burn or medicine for the pain. Literally nothing. Take the extra miles and go to Rush.
What a terrible mistake we made by going to this ER. I lived in many countries and visited multiple doctors along the way, and this was by far one of the worst experiences, which seemed like a money grabbing effort on their part. We checked in at 9.45 PM, hoping to remove a piece of metal from an eye, and left the hospital at 6 AM, unsure about the outcomes of our visit.
