As a patient I show up on time for my medical appointments, although, I recognize some people might not. That stated, I find threatening language on a pre appointment package insulting and offensive. The package I received states that if I am a “no-show” they will “record in my chart” my failure to show and charge me $200. Oh no, not my permanent record! I was referred here for a sleep study. When I went to check in online it would not allow me to unless I paid $3,000 up front. My options were to pay or to speak to as associate. This was before even receiving any care or speaking to any staff at all or going to my appointment. I called and canceled my appointment. Now I am sent a bill for $200.00 for the convenience of not being able to even check in or receive any care? This is scummy. Anyone would consider this scummy behavior.
