I called months ago to book an appointment for a surgery consult. I got booked over the phone, gave them insurance information, everything seemed great. I did all the paperwork. Soonest they could get me in was in 2 months.... thats fine! I happily waited. The day of my appointment i drove an hour and 15 minutes there only for them to tell me that my insurance doesn't cover surgery there...... they required me to pay a fee as to "not waste the surgeons time" but I basically wasted 2.5 hours of mine.
