I recently stayed in the hospital for less than a day due to a mental health issue. The nurses quite literally forgot about me. All they did was give me an IV, then never checked on me. When the police came to transfer me to the mental health facility, someone had to get a nurse so I could get my belongings and have the IV removed. Then she said "oh!" and was startled that I was still there. All of the nurses were rude, and the only nice staff was the cafeteria worker. During check in I was very impressed at the personality, professionalism, and thoroughness of my check in clerk, I asked her name (Blanca) she asked me to come back up to the desk, I thought I forgot something but she just wanted to verify my demographics & other information due to having several patients with the same name!!
