Doctor left with little warning, can’t get in to see anyone else or even get ahold of this office for medication refills. Now out of essential medications and can’t get ahold of anyone, nor can anyone locate the doctor who left.
Very good caring nurses, but management 3 yrsago was not very good. Three years ago, the director there in Georgetown, TX , at that time, could have killed my Dad! My Dads cpap machine broke and he suffered for three nights without one. The director refused to allow him to have another one! This was neglect and endangerment, in my opinion. I frantically searched and moved my Dad’s care to a different Hospice where an appropriate cpap machine was quickly provided.
I have used the Georgetown location for over 20 years and was very happy, but, my beloved doctor left and I am waiting to see another for over 2 months. I have 2 medications that I am out of that they refuse to refill even though I have an appointment scheduled in about 2 weeks. One is for pain and the other for ADD. I left a message asking for a call but no one called me back. I’m 75 years old and my pain has been so bad that I’ve not been able to sleep over a couple of hours for the last 3 nights. I see Julia Case. She is very knowledgeable and helped me lower my A1C. She cares and takes the time with you. Staff is always welcoming.
The main reason for 3 stars is solely because of the Ascension Group, NOT the doctors or staff at the clinic. The Ascension billing dept is absolutely HORRIBLE! They screw up my bill almost every single visit. I am self pay and pay at time of service. I then get a notice of a balance due the next day or so AFTER I have already paid! I then have to go through a song and dance routine to get it straightened out. Calling the number listed only transfers you to some call center in India.
