Very professional and took the time to make sure I understood how to determine which foods affect my condition and what amount to consider. It will definitely be a change in lifestyle and the way I look at food.
My diabetic educator Meg is an invaluable part of my team that helps me be in more control of my diabetes. She gives me helpful tips (more protein!) and encouragement along my health journey. In the past year my A1C has gone from 8.4 down to 7.1 and I've lost over 35 pounds! As a senior and a caregiver, making these changes can lead to a more active, healthy life and I need all the tips, tricks and build-able changes to help manage my diabetes. I feel so much better than a year ago!
Meg is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions. She listens and takes her time during the appointment. I am very comfortable talking with her. I always leave the appointment learning a lot and have many ideas to improve my diabetic health. I would very highly recommend friends and family to her.
