I experienced stereotyping at the clinic with Daphne P Tumaneng and the check-in lady. As a Black female attending the OBGYN for the first time, I was nervous, leading to high blood pressure readings. The nurse assumed my blood pressure was typically high, and made baseless assumptions about my smoking and drinking habits. Daphne spoke at me rather than to me, assumed I was sexually active without asking, and insisted I get tested for STIs and vaccine recommendations without any discussion.
I won’t come here again Just be aware of your time this place will waste your time but nothing else. I was running late. I called them. Let them know that I am running late for 10 minutes and. They said OK you can’t be late no more than 11 o’clock. My appointment was at 10:45 AM. I arrive at 10:53 AM So I arrive at time since they told me you cannot be late no more than 11 AM. Very nice staff 😍
The doctor was very nice it was the head nurse who wasn’t pleasant. Called me to give results and basically told me my husband was a cheater and was so unprofessional.
