I am deeply concerned about the practices at this Wound Care clinic, particularly regarding their use of IV antibiotics. The requirement for patients to undergo the placement of a PICC line for daily IV treatments is highly troubling. Once the line is in place, they immediately commence administering strong IV antibiotics, such as Vancomycin, without exception. The concern I have with this Wound Care clinic is their use of IV antibiotics. They require their patients to get a pic line in order to be connected to an IV line. After the pic line is inserted, they begin receiving IV antibiotics every day. It is a requirement for treatment. They use the strongest IV antibiotics, Vancomycin. The team is professional, passionate and friendly. Doctor is a quiet man and so very gentle. He has been treating my husband for many years off-and-on and always manages to get things under control.
