I was skeptical when I first went in. I thought, "well here we go, another know it all counselor who's never been in the same place I've been, knowing nothing about how it really is and what it's like, read a few books and knows everything". However after the second session, I was amazed to find out my counselor had, "been there and done that"..She knew what we were going through. She was able to understand and connect with each of our problems and offer first hand advice. Every staff member I came in contact with were very ... read more
A group of counselors that no matter how many times you give up on yourself, they won't. They get it. Been there and done that. They believe in each individual that walks through that door. I've been out of the program for almost two years now but I make sure I go up there at least once a month to give or get advice. This is a lifelong disease just cause ur program is done doesn't mean the fight is. They will always be there for you. Special Thanks to Shanna
