I’ve been going to Ascend for a couple of years, but recently I’ve realized that they do not seem to value returning customers. On multiple occasions, after booking an appointment, I’ve been contacted and asked to change it—often on the same day. I’ve always been patient and accommodating when this has happened. $90 originally they wanted to charge me $90 for this… I showed a reference photo but the final result looks very different from what I asked for. They explained that they didn’t have similar colors, which I understand, but the outcome is still far from the reference… They reduced the price by seventeen, bringing it to seventy three, but honestly, paying this amount for this result feels unacceptable. I've been going to Ascend for 5 years now, and this is the only nail salon in all of Seattle that I'm willing to go to. I've tried a few others in the last couple of years, and without fail I am always disappointed when comparing the experience to Ascend. The aesthetic is very calming and clean; clearly a lot of thought went into the interior design and experience. The staff is so friendly, and amazing with the services provided.
