The staff is amazing!!! I love the care they provide. There truly care about their patients!!!
The Doctors are amazing, Kade Anderson is the most compassionate health care provider and has helped improve my life greatly. I have been his patient for years now. The only reason for this mid review is the front desk staffing. Specifically the receptionist Mellisa. Time after time, she has been beyond rude, condescending and argumentative. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I recently went in to be evaluated for ADHD based on my symptoms. Rachel Butikofer did my evaluation, I immediately felt so safe around her. She’s calm, she listens, she informs, she’s very empathetic. I learned a lot from my appointment about how my brain works and how medication supports it. She made me feel seen and heard, I’ve now been on medication for about 2 weeks and I feel like I’m finally getting my life back. I can’t wait to follow up and thank her in person. After a barbaric commitment experience in Michigan, Ascend Mental Health is a breath of fresh air, both literally (with the atrium) and figuratively. Rachel is amazingly compassionate and disarming, and helped us try and put pieces back together for my wife's mis-diagnosis. Shaun was nothing short of an angel for seeing our distress on his day off and coming to the atrium to help us so we would not have to wait for the next available appointment. If you have loved ones, this is the place for them.
This office especially Dr Larsen is amazing. He has seen some of our kids for a few years. They are ever accommodating and always respond to messages. I would recommend this office to anyone needing help with mental health needs and medications.
