A dear friend used Ascend Hospice for end of life care. The nurses were fantastic, very attentive and caring. They provided massage therapy, music therapy and Social Worker which was very helpful to her spouse and children. I would recommend Ascend Hospice to anyone in need of end of life care.
Ascend had a hospice nurse assigned to my mom . She told my family my mom was transitioning and she started hospice . Morphine . My mom washt dying . I was sure of it. She was complaining if pain in her leg. I questioned a clot in her leg ?? Hospice nurse . Told my sisters she was transitioning that’s why there was no blood flow. I called an ambulance and my mom was seen in the emergency room. They found a clot in the artery of her leg . She wasn’t transiptibing at all. Wonderful company with excellent values. After working with other companies and personal experiences with family members, Ascend has so much to offer their patients and their families. They are not understaffed like most companies and give patients the time and attention they need.
