I have been practicing aerial at Ascend over 6 years now, and highly recommend the studio if you just want to try something different & FUN, or want a challenge on your physical and mental abilities. Staff members including instructors are very knowledgeable, technical and adaptable. Most importantly, they ALWAYS prioritze your safety and listen to your concerns. I recently attended their aerial silks class and had a mixed experience. The body conditioning exercises in the first 30 minutes were rather easy, and as a beginner to intermediate aerialist, I've encountered more efficient routines elsewhere. The lack of guidance in timing and individual pacing left me feeling less warmed up than desired. The class was crowded, sharing a silk with someone, which meant only a fraction of the time was spent on the silks.
