I had my son's 8th birthday party at Asbury woods today and it was so much fun! Melissa the naturalist did a fantastic job with the science experiment for the children. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun affordable party!
First time we ever crossed the bridge. Never even new there where trails on the other side. Next time we will definitely go farther. Love the walks with the dogs
My older son which is hard to impress. Loved the winter outdoor survival event. The instructor let the kids do the packing. Then the kids with the instructor help set up the shelter. Then groups of two kids and two adults made little fires they cook on. Then the instructor told them about how important putting out the fires was never leave a fire spot when it is still hot. I love all the programs Asbury has offered. The bee education is a must to attend also.

Love love love! I have so many memories of going there when I was a kid and now watching my kids exsplore there just makes me so happy!
What a wonderful way to spend a cold winter's evening with an inquisitive nine-year old Granddaughter who was interested in everything! We'll definitely be back!
