My mom has been in the ER and admitted to the hospital several times over the past 20 years. She has always had wonderful care from all the staff! I appreciate their care, patience, understanding, and smiles! Thank you all! :)
I’ve been all over the United States and this is by far the worst emergency room I have ever visited. They have urine and nasal swabs in the same container at room temperature for hours on end there wasn’t a single mask available in the ER. The staff was unprofessional. It was unsanitary and I was told I could not eat before seeing the doctor although I was having a diabetic episode so by far the worst place I have ever been. I understand being understaffed clearly has this place struggling... HOWEVER, when I went in there, there was so much that was not checked that the "doctor" claimed to have checked when I read my after visit summary.. and many false statements about my status. Biggest being my breathing which I was struggling with and had clear sounds of gunk in my chest. Even had lower oxygen and high heart rate. Yet he wrote normal breath sounds?! I went to Asante er today for fear of having pneumonia. I’ve been sick for weeks with respiratory problems. The nurse that was assigned to me was great. I couldn’t ask for a better one. The er dr. Kailey Kelly was just awful. She made me feel like crap. When I asked questions about my test results she rolled her eyes as if I was stupid or bothering her. OF COURSE THERES A WAIT DUH ITS A ER, BUT THE KINDA STAFF AND INTAKE PEOPLE SERIOUSLY MAKE YOU FORGET THAT. This ER was above standard and the RN that did my vitals OMG HES A ROCK STAR.
